Extremely large 90 cm/35,43 inch oval designed snowflake 'Snowball' Sputnik chandelier designed by Emile Stejnar for Rubert Nikoll, covered with Austrian crystal stars and flowers which scatter the light in a unique and very charming way made in Vienna in the 1950s. This is a beautiful, high quality chandelier and will be a mind blowing addition to a space. This Sputnik chandelier is in original good condition, with a nice patin at the brass and in working order. The chandelier looks from the side oval, viewed from below, round. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
