This chandelier was abandoned in a Midwest barn through many a winter. Designed by George Nelson for Howard Miller; it's truly a piece of functional art that was meant to be admired in a grand mod space. Extremely rare, two styles of "Metalites" were made: the Cylindrical and Convex. Both featured a polyethylene diffuser drum that dispersed the light through angled satin brass fins.
