Mid-Century Modern French cast iron coffee or cocktail table featuring a faux leather equestrian strap design in the manner and style of Jacques Adnet and Hermes. The iron frame was beautifully crafted to resemble leather equestrian harness straps, rings, and buckles with a lovely aged patina. Topped with a pane of rectangular glass having clipped corners and an ogee beveled edge. Striking from any angle with belt loop supports for the glass and gracefully curved legs on the bottom. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with age appropriate wear. Intentionally patinated metal finish on the iron as seen in photos.
