Large vintage coffee table in chromed metal and smoked glass top. The simple and elegant design typical of the 70's and the materials used, are reminiscent of designer lines such as Sprunger, Bredhol or Hesterberg. The base has four branches in the shape of four bows or a bunch of flowers. It is in very good original condition and was gently cleaned, to preserve its patina of time. Some slight marks and traces of use and time near the screw, but no rust. There are pads present under the base. The top is made of tempered, smoked glass (the exact reference of this color for tempered glass is called ''bronze''); the tone goes from gray to light brown, depending on the brightness and viewing angle. The top is a little less than one meter in diameter and is 6 mm thick. Its size will allow it to be a central piece in general, as well as a center piece in the middle of one or two sofas, or lounge chairs. The pads on the top of the plating to protect the glass, are in perfect condition. Of course the tray (glass top), is removable. This vintage table with industrial look or design, is stable and solid (the top is 11 kgs and the base 7 kgs.) It will be perfect for any given mcm, retro or contemporary interior.
