The tabletop is cut from a single fossilized tree that formed approximately 20 million years ago in the volcanic regions of Indonesia. The steel frame shown in the picture gives the table a height of 40 cm (including the slab). If preferred, a custom-made steel frame can be produced in a different height to suit your interior and personal taste. The surface displays soft earth tones of beige, grey, and warm brown, enriched with natural mineral veins and striking formations at the centre where the ancient core of the tree once was. Subtle cracks and crystallized structures add depth and character, while the organic outer edge retains the natural contour of the original trunk. The polished finish highlights the remarkable textures created during this long geological process. with dimensions of 93 cm in width and 66 cm in depth, this piece has a strong sculptural presence and works beautifully as a coffee table or statement piece in both modern and nature-inspired interiors. Each table from Xyleia Petrified Wood is carefully sourced in Indonesia and finished with precision in Twello, the Netherlands. Because every fossilized tree is unique, no two tables are ever exactly alike, making each piece a truly one-of-a-kind natural design object.
