This antique table from Shaanxi, China features ornate, heavily carved drawers and spandrels, a signature of the region's furniture. The original lacquer, now worn and crackled, adds a unique patina. The three drawers and two panels below are decorated with floral designs and can be removed for access to the interior space, possibly used for storing valuables.
