The central inlay: Features a superb and detailed geometric-figurative depiction of Saint George slaying the dragon, a classic, rare, and visually striking iconographic motif, executed with pinpoint precision. Borders: The central decoration is framed by a rich series of geometric "herringbone" borders and Greek key motifs, typical of Rolo production, which elegantly continue along the thickness of the panel beneath the top. Stand: The top is supported by an elegant turned central shaft in dark wood, embellished with contrasting inlaid rings, which terminates in a solid and sinuous tripod with wavy legs, also embellished on the back with a refined geometric inlay.
