Small table pedestal table with rectangular tray and angles with cut sides. It offers a sumptuous marquetry of various wood, with in particular in its center the representation of a couple of birds, with pyrogravure, placed on a leafy branch. This scene in the background of walnut is bordered by a multitude of friezes with geometric shapes as varied as the colors that compose them. Indeed, the craftsman of the time skillfully played with the different shades of the woods used, thus forming, all in finesse, a harmonious patchwork. This tray, with also marked songs, overlooks a headband, itself embellished with a discreet border. It rests on a central barrel with generously turned curves and ended with four cut feet ensuring perfect stability to this pedestal table. This basket alternates wood varnished in black and natural drowning, and again sports inlays, in emblazoning friezes in the upper part, in rafters on the top of the feet. The dimensions of this pedestal table make it easily adaptable to spaces of all sizes, which it will personalize with refinement. ******** Era: Napoleon III, 19th century Perfect condition after restoration in our workshop.
