An antique English oak cocktail table, handcrafted at the turn of the 19th/20th century, crafted in 17th century Dutch Baroque taste, featuring a wonderfully parqueted circular top in a radiating sunburst pattern, the wood grains, delicately placed between the decorative motifs, reminiscent of the rays of the sun, giving a great liveliness to this top, surrounded by a beveled and hand carved decorated edge over the scalloped apron with shell carving, thickly hand turned carved decorated sphere baluster legs, joined by shaped cross stretchers, supported on hand turned bun feet. The handsome Edwardian period antique table, circa 1900, England, is in exceptional shape and presents with strong, masculine resence. It's versatile, can also be used as a coffee table, end table, lamp stand, center/centre table or occasional table.
