Vintage checkerboard pattern trunk turned coffee table, with metal strap details. The checkerboard print is reminiscent of the Louis Vuitton "Marquerie" or "Damier" checkerboard print. Originally purchased as a free standing vintage trunk, this piece has been recently turned into a coffee table by adding four (4) round blackened steel feet to it. The trunk is made of painted oil cloth, and does fully open to an inside that can act as storage. This coffee table is unique and full of character and history.
