Georgian Revival knotty pine alcove cabinet. This is an unusual piece contrasting the rustic, country appeal of knotty pine with classical design elements: geometric panels, fluted pilasters, a sunburst pattern inside the top arched hutch, and a plaster frieze band. The effect is softened by scrolling floral motifs on the frieze band with complementing flower medallions, and serpentine edged shelves in the open cabinet. The cabinet comes in two parts: the lower enclosed cabinet and the upper hutch. There is a piece of wood missing on the top right corner and a broken off piece from the middle right that is included. Overall, good condition with surface wear appropriate to age.
