The regal European antique (likely French Empire) hand-crafted from 19th century and later elements, features a pair of large richly detailed gilded bronze Imperial (Royal) Eagles with spread wings, perched atop architectural columns adorned with finely chiseled and sculpted ormolu embellishments, flanked by dore bronze figural rams head mounts, over gilt brass and stunning malachite plinth bases. Rising from the impressive Imperial Eagles a pair of reeded pillars support a rectangular painted white wooden top with ornate flowing scrolled foliate Rocaille inspired apron. Rare, one-of-a-kind, the artisan-crafted table has presence, the mix of luxurious materials combine to create a timeless, elegant and sophisticated work of functional art. Strong and sturdy with beautiful, richly aged patina, the scattered areas of verdigris add unique character to the exquisite antique.
