Beautiful antique American 2 drawer Federal period work table. Table was made about 1820-1830. Table is solid cherry with poplar secondary wood. Table is a little wider than normal and also has a lower shelf. Nicely turned legs ending with ball feet. Table was refinished a while ago. As you can see there were a couple of separations to the top. These were repaired and then reinforced from underneath probably when it was refinished. The reinforcement can be seen in the last photo. This can only be seen when the drawers are removed and the table is upside down. Its an excellent repair in my opinion. The brass pulls are the correct style but are not original. Table is 18" deep and 24" wide and stands 28 3/4" tall. Nice table that can be used anywhere for many uses. The drawers are hand dovetailed. I do not have the key for the drawers.
