Napoleon III period sideboard console, in solid mahogany and mahogany veneer. Its top consists of an elegant tray with a groove and a beak molding around its perimeter. A pediment nicely carved with scrolls embellishes the back part, accompanied at each end by a piece turned into a top. This piece of furniture opens in belt by a drawer, decorated in application with motives of scroll and foliage, decorated with a macaron in the center. It rests in front on two very arched console feet in solid mahogany, carved in the upper part of an important acanthus leaf: they present a double scroll shape, reversed in the middle, on which a shelf is supported in gradient. A base, composed of a plinth and a grooved molding that follows the shape of the console, as well as two pebble feet, form the base of this piece. You will be charmed by the curves and sculptures of this sideboard console, magnified by the warm shades of mahogany. ******** Period : Mid 19th century Excellent condition after restoration in our workshop.
