An exquisite 18th century Italian wooden carved round about chair with secret door at the bottom. Barley twist posts support the arched top rail while the lower section of the chair is decorated with faces of chubby putti on volutes. Guarded by the putti and hiding under the seat, a secret door. The back features seven panels of wood topped by a carved molding.
