A hand thrown antique ceramic storage pot from Naples, Italy which would have originally been used for storage of foods such as fruits and olives. It has a lovely thick hand-touched surface which is finished with the soft wash of an old-white glaze. It's edge is tipped with a light touch of yellow which feels perfectly modern on these antique pieces. In good condition with some loss to the glaze. These smaller pots are highly collectible and very difficult to find.
