Chinese lacquer dragon panels hexagonal brushpot, gold lacquer intertwining vine pattern on the lip, finely painted alternating orange and blue polychrome dragons amid polychrome ocean waves and stylized clouds on a black lacquer ground. Black lacquer interior and inset base, six character DaoGuang reign mark in gold lacquer to the inset base. Circa late 19th century, no later than early 20th.
