This rare English Art Deco Revival Silver and Red Mannequin was created in the 1970s by sculptor and ceramicist Lindsey Balkweill. This iconic design was produced in 3 sizes, these 2 are the life-size, 6 foot version. These “Le Garcon" figures were expensive when they were produced, relatively few were sold and even fewer have survived today. They were made of resin and fiberglass in 3 color combinations that we have seen. Black & Silver being the most common, a Blue and Silver and The Rarest The Red & Silver Color Combination. He stands on a black painted, two-tier base. Sighed "Lindsey B" to the right side of the lower back. *** Black one sold separately as well as tray and bottles.
