This circa 1950s Replogle six-inch Gustav Brueckmann simplified globe has a geography game spinner as a base, a snazzy full red meridian, and a time dial at the top. The transfer painted steel orb shows the world as it was in the early 1950s. Korea and Vietnam are not divided, French West Africa has not been broken apart, the Belgian Congo exists, as well as Ceylon. Chinese place names are shown in the old Wade-Giles romanization. The vintage metal globe has a nice patina of age as well as a few dings and scratches, most notably smalls dent near the Canary Island & Guatemala.
