This desk lamp was created by Hustadt Leuchten Arnsberg for the world trade centre alongside the architect of the building Minoru Yamasaki in the late 1960s. The World Trade Center was a pioneering moment in designer history from the sleek exteriors to the open plan office interiors. Known as the ‘1’ lamp it features a fully mobile Lamp head & swan neck with a rare circle press button on the base. Hustadt Leuchten Arnsberg Created these lamps to be fully mobile and useful in an office space and created a floor lamp for the World Trade Centre in the same style, also available from our store. Both lamps have had their plugs changed to be UK compatible. Condition report: Very good condition, the aluminium remains unscuffed and the rare circle button equally as in good condition & the shade. The brass swan neck has some visible ageing. The lamp is in full working condition.
