An absolutely stunning original Art Deco burr walnut leather top desk. This was made in England, it dates from the 1930’s. It has an unusual and stylish design, with a nice and compact size, the quality is absolutely amazing. There is an inset black leather writing surface with blind Greek key tooling around the edges. It is made from burr and figured walnut which have stunning grain patterns, there are lovely details to the edges with inlaid herringbone designs. This is also beautifully polished on the back, so can be used as a free standing item. We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is superb for its age.
