A compact Art Deco-style ladies’ desk. This Polish-designed piece is characterised by its beautiful form, based on geometric shapes and forms, which is typical of Art Deco furniture. The piece is asymmetrically designed – on the right-hand side is a lockable cabinet, which is connected by the worktop to the left-hand side of the piece, which is more openwork and supported by a single, centrally positioned leg with a round shelf. The top of the piece on the left-hand side is rounded. There are three small drawers beneath the top. Additionally, a glass panel rests on three balls placed on the top. The desk is made of wood. The lines of the piece are accentuated by a veneer with a decorative grain pattern. The piece has undergone professional restoration.
