Composed of harmonious lines, this 1950s desk recalls the refined vocabulary of Italian architect and furniture designer Paolo Buffa. The rectangular frame in warm-toned wood tapers into subtle flared feet, supporting a thick glass top. A single glass shelf spans one side, dividing the open space and balancing lightness against solidity. Both architectural and intimate, it sits easily in a study, library, or bedroom. Condition: Great vintage condition. Light surface marks and indentations to the wood, consistent with age and use. One leg has been carefully repaired by our team of restorationists, stabilizing the structure while preserving the desks integrity. Glass top and shelf show minor scratches and light wear. Solid and functional.
