A Original Set of Four Portuguese Baroque Claw & Ball Dining Chairs made of Brazilian Rosewood, from the time Brazil was a colony of the Kingdom of Portugal. All valuable merchandise was brought to Portugal, such as noble wood, gold, spices, among many others. Origin: Portugal. Material: Brazilian Rosewood, Leather, Brass Nails. Circa: 18th Century. Note: The seat height of the chairs is a little lower than normal, because people were also shorter at the time. Item Condition: Some small dents and chips along the chairs. Some minor scratching. One chair with the leather seat more used. All chairs strong and stable. Some small old repairs along the chairs. One chair with an old repair on the back. Age weathered surfaces.
