You are viewing a fantastic earlier production DCW Chair by Charles + Ray Eames for Herman Miller c1950s. This iconic design is shown in its original red aniline dyed walnut plywood. The chair features ergonomically shaped plywood seat and backrest, with elegantly curved plywood backrest support and U-shaped tapered plywood legs (with original metal bumpers). DCW impressed stamp on underside. Likely had a metallic Herman Miller foil label, which is missing (where red dye was skipped on underside). Dates from likely the very early 1950s.
