We don't really know the orgin, manfacturer or age but a furntire historian that has worked with Sothebys and Stair gallery claims they are most likely late 19th century examples of the Rococo period Baloon back chair. The wood appears to be walnut, the seats are in good condition but the fabric needs to be replaced.
