Late 19th century Eastlake style upholstered side chair in walnut. Spoon-carved detail carvings on the top rail are accented with a burl walnut panel. The geometric floral decoration is quite charming. There is reeding, additional carving, and more geometric spoon carving at the base of the seat. The chair is upholstered in a rich brick red velvet on the seat, seat back, and back. There is also decorative red trim in the same hue. The reds are slightly different on each chair; one being warmer, the other cooler. It is not very noticeable unless the chairs are side by side. Please see the last photo with the red fire extinguisher to get an idea of color as reds are visually tricky. Price per piece. Dimensions: 17.75" x 18" x 34.75" 19th Century Collection 3.11 .
