Set of eight louis xv style chairs with venetian influences, in carved wood with a gray-beige lacquered finish, 19th century. the frame features cabriole legs richly carved with shell, acanthus leaf, and scroll motifs, connected by an x-shaped stretcher characteristic of the regency/louis xv style. The seat rail is adorned with a central shell framed by foliate scrolls. The backrest is flat and rectangular. The original lacquer has an antique patina with signs of wear revealing the underlying wood. All frames are declared perfectly stable by the seller. the seat and backrest are upholstered in burgundy/crimson velvet secured with matching braided trim.
