This antique table from Italy, in typical fratino style, features a walnut wood top, rectangular in shape, and raised upon a pair of lyre design inspired carved trestle legs that are braced at the underside with a pair of beautifully curved and crossing forged-iron stretcher bars. Notice that the main center board at top is a nicely-sized single board. The walnut has warm, medium tone with lovely patina and age; a wonderful reflective of its history and use. The leg clearance between the underside of the apron and floor measures 28.5 inches in height.
