Expertly refinished mid century modern oak dining table from Denmark c. 1970s. With a pair of drop leaves on the ends and two additional leaves for the center, this is the original transformer table, morphing from a humble two-seater to an eight-foot oval for 8-10 guests. All four of the leaves have no skirt / apron, meaning they occupy minimal storage space when not in use. A functional and highly versatile design, ideal for someone with a smaller dining space who still hosts larger gatherings from time to time. The rectangular leaves add 18.75 inches, while the half circle leaves add 17 inches. As shown in the photos, the table can be set up as a rectangle or an oval, depending on which leaves are in use. The frame, legs, and all dining surfaces have been fully refinished and sealed in a durable satin lacquer. Note: the width dimension provided below assumes the semicircle drop leaves are engaged.
