18th century irish drop leaf mahogany dining table circa 1770. We are pleased to offer this stunning irish dropleaf table of generous proportions. Maintaining it's colour and patina, a leg each side swings out to provide support for the leaves to form a near circular top surface. Raised on 4 elegant cabriole legs with acanthus leaf detail on the knee, standing on a ball and claw foot. Good solid and heavy table due to the timber used. 1 small area of old restoration to 1 leaf which has been photographed. Minor surface marks in line with age and use. Recently re-polished in our workshop and ready for everyday use. width closed: 20 2/3" knee height: 27 1/2"
