Vintage boat-shaped draw leaf dining table in Brazilian rosewood, made in Denmark c. 1960s. The bowed edge, tapered legs, and arched apron add visual texture that set the table apart from the more common rectangular design. The leaves stow underneath the main dining surface when not in use and can be deployed by one person in just a few seconds. With a maximum length of just under 8 feet, the table accommodates 8-10 guests in expanded form, making it ideal for people who frequently host larger gatherings. Refinished and free from noteworthy imperfections. We acquired this table with a set of rosewood Eva chairs by Niels Koefoed. The table is stamped “Made in Denmark”. Although it does not have a manufacturer’s label, we believe it was produced by Koefoeds Hornslet.
