A Vintage Mahogany Chippendale Style Title Top Tea Table, 1970’s Custom made by an unknown cabinetmaker in the 1970's or 1980's. Very well made. Solid Mahogany. Made in the Philadelphia style. Moulded dished rim top, with a heavy ball turned pedestal, cabriole legs, and ball and claw feet. The birdcage on the top allows the top to be disconnected from the base, and the top will rotate. Top is held in place with a ring and a wedge. Size: 37 1/2” wide, 36 3/4” round top, 28 3/4” tall top flat. 49” tall top up. Condition: Very nice as found condition. Minor scuffs/ding/scratches. Most of the wear was made that way. Table was purposely "antiqued" with scuffs, scratches and dings in the finish to make it look old.
