This French walnut round table was crafted in southern France circa 1960 in the Louis XIII style. The solid walnut top is generously scaled, with softly rounded edges and a warm, naturally developed patina that highlights the wood’s rich grain and color. The table stands on a classic double-baluster trestle base with turned legs resting on shaped sled feet, joined by a turned stretcher for strength and stability. The architectural base reflects traditional Louis XIII design while offering excellent balance and everyday usability. The surface shows light wear, small marks, and natural variations consistent with age and use. Structurally sound and well proportioned, this antique table works equally well as a dining table, breakfast table, or center table in a French country or traditional interior.
