This is an absolutely gorgeous antique American Empire chest, most likely built between 1815 and 1840. It is solid, sturdy, and spacious! It features four well-constructed dovetailed drawers with dovetailing consistent with the time period, cannonball feet, and plenty of surface space. The top drawer is positioned a little farther out from the other drawers in the classic American Empire style.
