Mahogany chest of drawers. The front features six drawers, the first, lowest, in the lower section. Cherry and poplar interiors, wooden doorknobs and metal knobs, turned legs, and a gray marble top. Italy, late 19th century. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
