Mahogany chest of drawers. Six drawers front, the first, lowest, is in the band beneath the top. Cherry and poplar interior, wooden escutcheons and metal knobs, turned legs, and a gray marble top. Italy, late 19th century. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
