Antique French Acajou and Tulipwood Gilt Bronze Mounted Marble Top Commode in the Style of Paul-Charles Sormani An exceptional antique French Acajou and Tulipwood gilt bronze mounted marble top commode in the style of Paul-Charles Sormani. The commode feature a serpentine fronted pink marble-top with a bow front, as well as two drawers with wreathed escutcheons and ring handles. The splayed cabriole legs have ram’s head chutes. It is attributed to Paul-Charles Sormani (1817-1866). Signed Wm.
