Antique George III style oak chest on chest, 1st half of the 19th century. Having a cove pediment with dental style molding, a band of Chinese blind fret carvings on front and sides, the top with two top drawers and 3 graduated lower drawers, all drawers with mahogany crossbanding, brass pulls and diamond shaped escutheons, flanked by fluted quarter columns resting on a brick design plinth the bottom section with 3 graduated drawers, resting on bracket feet. All drawers hand dovetailed. This chest is both very decorative and provides a lot of storage.
