The chest has undergone a careful and respectful restoration in our workshop. The surface was finished using a traditional hand-applied shellac French polish, applied with a pad. The chest features two spacious drawers, both lockable with a key. The original locks and escutcheons have been preserved. The absence of decorative handles emphasizes the restrained elegance and clean lines typical of true Biedermeier design.
