Baroque walnut and crotchet chest of drawers with maple and olive wood trim. Three-drawer curved front, drop-leaf upper door, four-drawer internal cabinet, and central open compartment with sliding shelf underneath, concealing secret internal drawers. Gilded bronze escutcheons, one of which is missing, bracket feet, fir interior and back. Central Italy, 17th century. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
