Directoire chest of drawers. Made of walnut. Three drawers in front, the first of which is lower, truncated pyramidal feet, and later knobs and escutcheons. Italy, early 19th century. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
