Design Plus Gallery presents an English Regency Mahogany Five-Drawer Chest dating from approximately circa 1800–1830. The rectilinear case is arranged with two short upper drawers above three graduated long drawers, each outlined by narrow molded borders. Brass bail pulls and keyhole escutcheons accent the mahogany grain, while bracket feet and a gently shaped lower apron complete the design. Hand-cut dovetail joinery is visible along the drawer sides, reflecting traditional period cabinetmaking. It is in good antique condition; visible scratches, and wear to the legs from age and usage. The brass hardware displays oxidation and patina. Does not come with keys.
