Louis XV provincial walnut 3 drawer chest of drawers, early 19th century. With an overhanging single board top with molded front and side edges, below 3 arbalete shaped drawers with brass pulls and escutcheons, a scalloped apron, resting on French fiddle feet. The arbalete front is difficult to make, requiring a single thick piece of wood to shape. Excellent old color. Mortise tenon and peg construction. Drawers are lined with green felt.
