This pure Art Nouveau chest of drawers was crafted from solid wood in the early 1900s. It features a two-tiered base with drawers and side drawer covers. The three staggered top shelves are finished in marble and support a three-piece mirror—a large central one and two lateral ones—added in a mid-century restoration to replace the wooden panels. The central mirror is elegantly oval, and the mirror is completed by a curved head with floral frieze panels. The friezes are found in the decorations on the central drawer and are echoed in the bronze hardware, in pure Art Nouveau style. The piece is in excellent vintage condition; it was completely restored in the 1950s and 1960s and has been perfectly maintained.
