Nice mid 19th century Empire chest of drawers made of cherry with flame mahogany veneer drawer fronts. Drawers are all hand dovetailed construction. Chest was probably made in Upstate New York. Chest was refinished decades ago. Chest is in very good condition ready to use. Minor wear to the finish and a few scratches consistent with use and age. Chest was made before the Civil War. The backsplash is removeable. Chest is 42 1/2" wide and 20" deep and stands 40" tall to the top and 45" to the top of the backsplash.
