This is an outstanding pair of gorgeous Chinoiserie-painted commodes that are of the period of Louis XV and made in Italy which made their own unique variations of Louis XV furniture and added painted scenery of Chinese pastures and towns with figures and pagodas in the scenes. These are absolutely stunning and extremely hard to find as period 1780s examples. They are in good condition and have minor signs of age and use. It measures 32.5 tall x 40 wide x 16.25 deep.
