Swedish 19th century Empire revival birch chest of drawers circa 1870. Elegant chest of drawers with generous proportions, fitted with 4 graduating drawers. Rectangular top with rounded front edges and a moulded edge.   Drawers fitted with ornate brass handles and blackened shield key plates.  Ebonised plinth base with shaped frieze.  Ideal piece for multiple rooms around the home. Old strengthening to back legs, very minor evidence of dead/treated worm to back boards.  Expected surface marks in line with age and use.  Recently french polished in our workshop and ready for everyday use.
