An Italian carved-wood occasional table, with trestle legs and x-stretcher, from the 18th century. This antique table from Italy has a rectangular-shaped wooden board top, which is supported with a pair of sinuously-carved, and inwardly canted, trestle style legs. The legs are braced at the underside of the table with a vertically positioned x-stretcher, and carved in the same manor as the legs adding much visual interest. The medium tone fruitwood has a nicely aged patina, and reflection of age throughout. This 18th century Italian trestle-leg table is a smaller and versatile sized piece, as it is approximately 2.75 feet in width, it'd be perfect for a smaller accent table or end table.
