Antique early 19th century card table. Stylized examples like this are usually formal by nature and made of mahogany or cherry. It’s rare to find one in pine. The serpentine top with exaggerated cut out corners opens to either rest against the wall, or lay flat with the support of the rear swing leg. Simple elegantly turned legs keep the focus on the beautiful shape of the top. Overall wear and some distressing as you would expect in a piece that is 200 years old.
